Change Service Account

  1. Login to your Azure portal

  2. Find the Azure Storage Account associated with ShArc. By default its name starts with sharc

  3. Navigate to Data Storage > Containers

  4. Locate the container named layer2-sharc and open it

  5. Select the blob Configuration and click "Delete"

  6. Enable snapshot removal and confirm the deletion

  7. Locate the ShArc Azure App Service. By default its name starts with sharc-

  8. Click on "Stop"

  9. Wait 10 seconds

  10. Click on "Start"

    Start App Service
  11. Wait until the Web App Service is running

  12. Copy the default domain of the Web App Service by clicking on the copy symbol on the right of it. It appears, when hovering on the URL.

  13. Open a new browser in incognito mode

  14. Paste the URL of the web service into the address bar and navigate to it

  15. Login with the account that should be used for all Offloading operations in the future. Preferably a service account, which
        - Is has the Global Administrator role in your SharePoint Online Tenant
        - Has full access to all files that you intent to offload.
            Note: Even Global Administrators do not have access to all files by default
