Over the past few days, we have observed that SharePoint does not reliably trigger third-party file handlers in some environments.
As a result, the existing “Open → Restore with ShArc” action may not be available in certain tenants.
ShArc version 1.10 will introduce additional restore entry points directly in SharePoint. These make the restore process more resilient and independent of the native File Handler behavior.
A new “Restore with ShArc” entry is available in the file context menu.
Opening an archived file in SharePoint will now again trigger the restore flow, restoring the familiar click-to-open experience.
